Is this still running please?
I have used the Diabetes UK helpline and would be willing to take part in this research if it's of any help now.

Type 2 Diabetes -

Diagnosed 2004 - Hba1c under 50 with good control and Metformin 1000 mg x2 per day, up until 2018.
2018 Metformin alone not doing the job and levels rising. Tried various other oral medications, most of which I didn't get on with at all so....
June 2019 started using Insulin

- NovoMix 30 - Dosage 26 Morning and Night.
Metformin 1000 mg x2 per day.
Last Hba1c May 2019 - 97

Weight Loss 1 Stone so far...🙂
Currently cutting right down on carbohydrates and increasing vegetables. I'm not able to do the "No carb - high fat diet as possible heart complications.
Pernicious Anaemia - 3 Monthly B12 injections.
Underactive Thyroid - Levothyroxin.
Thrombocytopenia - Low Blood Platelets - Loads of tests but the cause is still unknown and it doesn't need treatment yet.
Recurrent spells of Iron Deficiency Anaemia - Loads of tests - Cause remains unknown.
Vitiligo - Skin looses pigment and you go white! Started aged 21 years - it's an auto-immune thing.
NAFLD - Non alcoholic fatty liver disease.
.....and just to top it off and add some icing to the cake>>>>
Depression and anxiety - Treated with Sertraline antidepressant 100 mg per day and Propranolol 40 mg x2 per day. Have lived with this since I was 16 years old.
