This past two weeks I have been so depressed that I haven't even been leaving the house. I have felt so down and crying all the time, with no obvious reason for it. Tomorrow I am going to venture to local shop and I am really frightened. I know I have to do it or I will be stuck in the house. I am being treated by my gp and see her next week. Wish me luck.

Good luck today on your trip outdoors :spiritfree 🙂 Take a deep breath, go out there and enjoy the fresh air 🙂 {{{{HUGS}}}} I hope your GP can help, take care, my friend 🙂

I'm sorry you're having a hard time Spiritfree, I really hope you feel better very soon. Try to enjoy the local shop if you can x

Sending a big (((hug))) your way xx is there someone who can go with you for support?
Good luck and I hope your GP can help you x

Hello Spiritfree, well done for planning to go out to the shop , every little bit you do helps you . I've been there, where due to depression, i became scared at the thought of going out but with the right support it can be worked through. I don't know if the NHS in your area as Talking Therapies service but it might be worth asking your GP about it. Talking therapies helped me enormously.
Good luck at the GP 's.

Sending hugs spiritfree. I hope the trip outside today helps you feel brighter and more confident. Let us know how you get on 🙂

Sorry to hear this. I have suffered with depression for many years and on my worst days was difficult to even get up never mind out of the house.Glad you are being treated by your Doctor.

I hope your shop will stock something suitably deliciously naughty to reward yourself with for having the courage to face up to your fears. Baby steps but oh so important. Just remember every wall we break down is made up of single bricks. Sending you hugs of encouragement

Feeling for you spitfire . Iv been to that dreaded place , and only got out of it a year ago .
I will be walking by your side . Good luck

Well done on planning a walk to the shop. If it didn't work today try again tomorrow. If it did work today give yourself a big pat on the back.

Step by step.

Big hugs

It's an awful place to be SB but it's not forever and every time you fall down that dark well of despair, remember there's people throwing you a ladder back up! Small steps and gently pushing your boundaries and you'll get your zest and brightness back I'm sure. So many of us understand that the big D doesn't always mean Diabetes! Take care and best wishes x

((Hugs))

Baby steps now baby steps.
