I've decided to try a cottage pie tomorrow night with a cauliflower mash. Just wondering what I shouldn't put in it that might cause a BS spike? I'm ok with carrots.

I can't think of anything - hope it's a success! 🙂 If you top it with cheese this will slow the digestion and rate at which it hits your levels 🙂

Thanks 🙂

I use sweet potato mash on mine now. Cottage pie is one of my fav's.

I would use turkey mince-nicer the 2nd day Cauli mash sounds lovely

I've made it with cauli mash and quorn mince - I know not everyone likes quorn but I prefer it to meaty mince. Melt some grated cheese over the top....mmmmmmm yum 🙂

Well, mine was gorgeous! I did part beef mince part soya.

<Slurp>...must go down and sort out dinner....
