I haven't had one since before diagnosis. I have had a cream Belgian bun though, though not for a while.Markyp...not sure you need to get those waking numbers down any further...any excuse for a Danish Pastry...is that your Achilles Heel?.
OOh...could 'kill' for a cream bun Mark...have to confess had another one of those moments last night...had my usual small KitKat before bed...then succumbed to a couple of packets of mini Smarties too (the kids love them...shhhh...they don't need to know)😱😱😱...relieved to manage a 5.3 this morning...can't get complacent...need to rein myself back inI haven't had one since before diagnosis. I've had a choux bun occasionally. They are indeed very kind to my BG's.🙂I’ve always found those eclair type things (choux pastry filled with cream with a splat of chocolatey gloop on the top) relatively gentle on BGs as far as those sorts of things go. Probably pretty high calorie, but I think the cream does a good job of slowing the carbs in it down a bit.
