Relationship to Diabetes

Hi there. I was diagnosed tyoe 2 diabetic in 2013. I don't have any of the Coronavirus symptoms, I would like to know do I still have to self isolate.
 
I don't think you have to self isolate as long as you or a family member are not ill, but as a diabetic you are advised to reduce social contact as is anyone over 70 or with certain long term health conditions, diabetes being one of them.
 
So will I still be able to stand in supermarket queues because I will have to get my shopping soon.
