Having type 2 I'm petrified. Medication is Metformin 500mg x4, Simvistatin 40mg, Gliclazide 80mg x2 and Escatlopram 40mg for severe anxiety and severe contamination OCD. I am overweight, have sleep apnea which is controlled. I'm petrified and very anxious, I'm not going out, I'm worried about my son mixing with friends. I'm stressed, worried and scared!

Hello @nikki1111 ,

Thank you so much for joining our online community forum. We have had some members feeling quite anxious about the coronavirus and how it affects people with diabetes. It may be helpful to speak to one of our helpline advisers or you may find it helpful to read others peoples post regarding the coronavirus. The link below is quite a busy thread that may ease your fears.

HI @nikki1111 - welcome to the forum. It can be a worrying time, especially for those of us who have a few health concerns. You have been given great links from @Josh DUK to work your way through.

We just have to make sure everyone in our households grasp and understands the advice being given. Many sources out there to help with this. Information is the key and we get more and more each day to help us manage things to reduce our risks. Try not to worry, easier said than done, i know. Just keep being mindful of cleanliness and contact. Lets hope it passes quicker than predicted. All the best.
