It started with just a cough, I didn't feel unwell at all, in fact I felt fine, then after 3-4 days I started with my inhaler, my thoughts were, the cough was causing the shortness of breath. After 10 days I was quite poorly, I didn't like to talk as it tired me out, everything was getting a struggle. Things stayed the same, then after 16 day's I woke up a

It took around 16 days, things just got worse after the fist 8-9 days, that's when I started to struggle to hold a conversation.
everything was going down hill, then I woke up on or around day 16 (I didn't really keep track of it), and just felt remarkably better. I'm still no 100%, I feel fine most of the time, but if I over do it, I feel very bad like I'm going to drop on the spot as my energy is just sapped.
The worst thing is I wasn't tested, so even though the doctors said they thought it was the virus, you just don't know for sure as it could be a different viral infection.
Hi,I'm glad you're feeling prety much better,I'm sure it's just going to take a little while until your firing on all cylinders.
Did you manage to get to sleep at night and did you have to prop yourself up to sleep?

Sleep wasn't an issue at all as I was exhausted all the time. Tried sleeping propping myself up, but always woke up laying down.

some might off seen my posts where i was diagnosed with fibrosis, to put the long story short, i was left with no treatment and was finding it difficult to get rid of mucous so telephoned surgery last week only to find someone had put me down as only having covid-19!

i have since started treatment for the fibrosis but am now getting bombarded with NHS text thanks to the above happening.

only testing would confirm if i did have the virus but the lack means i will never know.

The Nightingale would have been a Godsend if thing had got much worse. At least we in the UK had the option. Pity the poor people in other countries that do not have the healthcare we have. Just saying...
