corn on the cob

How do you calculate the carb content of corn on the cob?
my book says 11 per 100g, the label on the packet says 19 per 100g.
Also do i weigh the whole thing before and after and apply the carb figure to the actual kernels eaten?

Dont know if this helps you at all and sorry i cant answer the second bit of your Q.

Approx 22 carbs in 1 small (5? to 6?"), 3.1 oz or 88g, yellow, boiled, corn cob
Approx 26 carbs in 1 medium (6? to 7? 3.6 oz, 103g, yellow, boiled, corn cob
Approx 29 carbs in 1 large (7? to 9"), 4.2 oz or 119g, yellow, boiled, corn cob
