Anyone else found corn on the cob an ‘issue’.
I boluses for two corn on the cobs, which I love.
Yes they were smothered in butter and I enjoyed every bite. …

… then hypo. I see that a lot of the corn ‘goes straight through’ so I think I shall halve the carbs next time.

Corn is on the 'off' list for me. It's a white carb even if it's yellow! :D

I don’t bolus for one corn on the cob @SB2015 Although it’s officially carbs, I found the quantity of carbs on a cob quite minimal and, as you say, they don’t seem to get absorbed. I might add a few decimal points of bolus insulin, eg 0.2, but in general I ignore one cob. I’m not sure what I’d do for two cobs - probably eat once and see how it goes. The accompaniments also have an effect.

Thanks @Inka
Still worth continuing to experiment!!!! Some things I can’t resist and I shall enjoy one even more now that I can basically ignore it. Perhaps two was a bit greedy!!!

Same here, have corn on cob once weekly, sometimes twice in bbq season. Usually have it meat + other veg & potato wedges, always just bolus for wedges.
