Hi I like cordials in sparkling water eg elderflower and ginger but I’m finding they spike my levels. Has anyone tried and enjoyed a nice cordial that doesn’t spike levels
Thank you

You could try buying the flavoured sparkling water, there are some nice flavours, elderflower and apple, white grape and blackberry are a couple I like.

Try the non-sweetener flavoured waters like these:

Aqua Libra

and these:

San Pellegrino Essenza

Also, Dash is good. All the cheap, sweetened ones leave an unpleasant after taste and are bad for your gut biome.

Tbh, I’m happy enough with no-added sugar Robinsons Orange and Barley. :D

I just get any of the no added sugar squashes

I tend to buy the cordials from M&S.They are sweetened with plant sweetener and taste great.

How about creating your own water flavourings such as adding pure lemon juice or ginger “juice” (if you grate fresh ginger, it produces a mush that can be squeezed or you could soaking grated ginger mush in water to produce your “cordial), or some sprigs of mint.
I often make iced fruit tea out of herbal tea bags. I pour about an inch of boiling water onto a tea bag and leave it for an hour or so to steep. Then top up with ice and/or cold water.

Hi there Helli.

I have tried these and I think they're all great...and I love making my own ice-tea.I love making mine with Rooibos(redbush)tea and it's absolutely delicious
