Hello you beautiful people and Fellow Diabetics.
The time as come for me to venture into my kitchen and try and cook something for tea.
I have all the ingredients so what could possibly go wrong Oh sorry it's me that's cooking the novice if it comes out right I will take a photo of it and post it on here.
I have been told that type 2 Diabetics can't have Decaf Coffee Or Tea this as come from a Type 1 Diabetic so is he right or is he wrong, I myself absolutely love Strong Coffee but my Stomach doesn't.

Never heard that, did you ask him what he thought the reason was?

Hi all I am not on about cooking the Tea you drink I am on about cooking something for Teatime or to you three if you are the Posh People what you would call Dinner. I come from Yorkshire Born and Bred and Proud of it I am working class I use to work for a living not sat in some office with all the other posh people or saying yes Sir No sir and all that c**p.

My father was a Yorkshireman, and I know what Tea, as in the meal, is.🙂 But you put lower down your post ;-

From which I deduced that you meant decaf coffee or decaf tea to drink.

Hello @kevinr ,

Have you thought about looking at a few Youtube videos for cooking? There are tons of videos will take you step by step on how to cook some things.

Hi JoshDUK great to hear from you.
I normally watch youtube at night when I have finished playing Train Simulator 2 Collectors Edition on ps4. TBH I have never thought about looking at cooking recipes on youtube I think this could help me a lot. I was thinking of going on Can't Cook Won't Cook but I don't want to be responsible of setting the BBC alight.
Did you read the feedback I gave you about not seeing my brother and sister?

Hi everyone and the staff well this is the end result of my attempt at cooking I think I should have left it longer in the oven but the cat seemed to enjoy two of the Sausages. Check out the photos

''Fingers in aprons.'' The photos look very appetising. Cooking is not my strong point.

It is with sad regret that I am leaving Diabetes UK my head is so screwed up with problems and that I am so stressed out due to my health issues that I think it would be a good thing. I can't thank you guys enough for all the help you have given to me and have always been there if I had a problem with my diabetes. I don't want to leave but I think it's for the best that I should go my email address will always be open if you want to send me an email you don't have too of course it's entirely up to you. I will never forget any of you and maybe you might see me on the tv trying to cook in ready steady cook you will know its me with my strong Yorkshire accent and broad sense of humour. Bye every one take care of yourselves xx

Toad! the toads look OK, just the batter surrounding it which seems to have collapsed, though the edges look OK.

Ive been there... I hope there s a website out there with support services. I was able to use Bipolar UK. But MIND might help better. Go for it even tho you dont feel like it.

At the moment Jenny105 it would be my wedding anniversary tomorrow to my first wife but things didn't work out with us I do miss her and my grand kids well her grand kids. Everything is getting on top of me and it's only me that can work it out and hopefully get my life back on track. I will leave you with this we just don't know what's going to happen to us bye

Just {{{Hugs}}} and best of luck from me.

Kevin, font do yourself down so much, you had a go ,that's the important thing,
To be honest cooking Yorkshire pudding isn't the easiest of things, you need a really hot oven, hot fat, pour the batter in ,shut the oven door for 25 mins, DO NOT OPEN the door, crack the door open, after 25 mins turn of oven & leave for 5 mins.
I make my Yorkshire's with bread floor, banging on the oven door to be let out every time !
