Today my GP rang to arrange my flu jab. Then she said oh your Hba1c result is excellent, immediately followed by 'you can't come off Metformin'. I was stunned, I don't know why she said that, I hadn't mentioned anything. Also, have never asked to come off it, taking it doesn't bother me. It was most peculiar
 
Perhaps she's had a spate of T2s wanting to stop taking it? - Just don't know, do we!

Who knows I also thought she might have muddled me up with another patient 9n her phone list. Just odd, but there you go
 
I had a voice mail last week from one of the nurses at my surgery who I have only seen once saying she wanted to check something with my regarding the Asthma Check I had via a form, which I have not done, I had one via Phone with another nurse. I rang the surgery to speak to her as asked, after taking 20 mins to get through the receptionist said she would put a message on her screen to ring me back. A week on I have not heard anything.
