I've done 3 blood tests today:

7:53 - 4.8 mmol/l
12:07 - 4.8 mmol/l
16:15 - 4.8 mmol/l

!!! :D

You are TEH BOMB!!

There must be some cosmic significance to that number today!

Either that or your control has been spot on. 🙂

I presume you'd want to be a little higher before bed though?

Andy 🙂

I'd be worried the meter had broke for Millie!:D Wow, that is really steady !

I'm very impressed!!

I'd have bodged several other fingers by now, consistent my BG's ain't! (similar sometimes which is good when they were OK to begin with)

Well done Northerner, I've forgotten what anything in the 4's looks like, best all day has been FBG at 5.9. Having second thoughts about this Insulinx meter.... or is it 3rd thoughts?

.......change the batteries alan! 😉

To celebrate I have just eaten sausage chips and beans, followed by one third of a family-sized strawberry trifle (the other two thirds went over tha past two nights :D Let's see if I got the dose right! My 7-day average at the moment is 5.3, including only one hypo of 3.9 - trying to keep it up so I have a good printout to take to my 6 monthly review next week! 🙂

Haha! I've just tested before injecting my lantus and I'm...4.7!!! 😱 :D

Well done Alan - pleased things are going well for you.🙂

Sausage, chips and beans...AND triffle!!! 😱 That lot would have me through the roof, and some. Don't worry Alan, I wouldn't dream of having a go with the levels you're getting, I'm just soooo jealous. But very pleased for you too. XXXXX

Soooooooo impressive! Well done!

You are the person I hold up to the DSN 'somebody is able to get these results, why can't I?'

My HbA1c was 7.1, still good, but SD is still over 4.1, which means lots of highs and lows. I think someone should have you and me on a long-term trial, diagnosed at the same age, but day to day results completely different, wonder if they'll recommend marathon running as the best possible treatment!

Keep up the brilliant standards!

How on earth do you manage readings like those with only 1 hypo, thats incredible!! You must be the worlds best carbohydrate counter:D

He's Sir Alan of the North Elaine. He's imune to the evil deeds of the Diabetes Fairy. In fact I do believe she is forced by Royal Decree to remove all unwanted Carbs from his food. :D XXXXX
