Just had my latest HbA1c of 50 in the new money,I'm afraid I still have trouble with the conversion.......I think it's 6.7 but one chart says 8.1!! [surely not??] my nurse wants to see me [first time been called in on a HbA1c reading] can anyone clarify please?

I've also lost over 2st in about 6-8 months with minimal effort [did I really just say that??!!] and have had all usual bloods to check for a reason [nothing found] I do have recurring acute tonsillitis and had camera down....no cancer thank goodness, and GP then thought glandular fever but bloods say not....mystery still ongoing so don't know if connected to weight loss but do wonder if the many infection and many courses of antibiotics are affecting my sugars.

Maybe you've just been reducing your carb intake naturally hectoraza and that combined with the meds has brought your weight down. We tend to eat less when we have infections too. But well done whatever the reason! 🙂

Just wanted to esquire whether you really were a silly old Hector, and enquire how your house is? (if you don't know why I'm asking these things, just ignore me LOL)

Ooh, Hector's House, I used to love that when I was about 2 or 3, Jenny :D

50 is pretty good, Hectorzaza, surprised they would have called you in over that. It's slightly over normal range, but not that high for someone with diabetes.
