Hi all,
As some of you may remember (if your bored enough!) - i have been battling to get Alex's waking levels down for about 3 weeks now.
Good news - this morning he was 8.4 - ok not perfect- but 3 weeks ago he was 22mmols on waking!😱
So i split his levemir and very slowly every couple of days increased his night time dose. But, i am wondering whether this mornings level is a fluke - because obviously the hot weather has a huge impact on his use of novorapid- we reduce it by about a third on a hot day!
So i am now worried that as its about to get even hotter - should i reduce his evening levemir - or doesnt the weather affect the long acting as much as it affects the short acting?
Bev
