When I was diagnosed all I was given was a leaflet , no referral to a diabetic clinic or any support .I have no idea of what my levels should be or anything, most of what I do know, has been passed on to be by fellow diabetics, tv, articles in magazine, internet and pin interest.

Sadly this is often the case :(

Welcome to the forum Claire. This happens a lot.

Welcome Claire, so often this is the case.... However, you have come to the right place; this is a very supportive forum.
