I have just changed to decaf yesterday because I suspect that the caffeine has been upsetting my stomach. So far (3 cups down) and it looks like it is making a slight difference in that my levels usually rise by about 1mmol with a coffee and I have it mostly with cream, so minimal carbs from milk. Whether the rise is from the caffeine stimulating my body and perhaps encouraging my liver to release more glucose or perhaps because it is upsetting my stomach and causing some inflamation, I don't know, but we are all individuals and our bodies will all respond differently to different stimuli.

I am enjoying the decaf and what I really loved was that I could have a warm comforting drink before bed last night without it impacting my sleep.
