Vodka is low carbohydrate

The good news is - it's one helluva'n improvement and some take years to get to where you are now in a couple of months so you are doing REALLY well whatever you may have told yourself!

I would actually think your Doc was thinking you'd only be at the start of the journey down towards 10 - not nearly there, at all.

He actually knows (as do all of us so you need to take it on board too) that Diabetes is a marathon - NOT a sprint, and you ALWAYS need to keep trying, it never actually stops though some time in the future, you can actually relax a little bit from time to time.

Just look forward to getting there - in my case it took about 35 years LOL

Owen...you are such a help...could have been crying into the GIN later...only one bottle of vodka in the house...hey ho...I don't have to share...and when the neighbours complain about someone dancing N***D in the garden around midnight...will refer them to you...such a bad influence...

Enjoy your posts so much...such irreverence...only seen them in the last few days...where have you been..yes...it is an improvement...just peed off with having to find information where I can...should get it from the health care professionals I see...he does his best...but with upwards of thirty patients a day...ten minutes goes so fast...determined to do better...not seeing him until the 25th...testing regularly...although he and the nursey are firmly against it...I ignored that....taking my record book with me...and you're right I have to be pleased with results so far...have other health issues...this is the only one I can manage on my own (with help from here)...Thanks so much...
