Lidl do a loaf , costs 80p and its 10g per slice
Waitrose do one called livlife which costs £1.70 ish and is 3g carbs per slice .
We have Livlife and it has been a game changer in terms of bread. Makes fab toast.

And if you are up here in the northwest and have access to a Booths supermarket, I can recommend their low GI loaf.

Hovis Nimble is 37g per 100g, but only 8.1g per slice
Warburtons wholemeal (400g) is 37.8g per 100g, but only 9g per slice
They are not seeded, but smaller slices, but still quite reasonable.

Livlife, if you can find it, it used to be in Waitrose, and occasionally in a few other supermarkets intermittently is
10.2g per 100g, 3.4g per slice.

So not a great ampont of difference.

2.2 g per two slices, expensive but you wont find better in my opinion and I am worth it!

I can buy Livlife locally.
Ok, it's 6.8g per two slices, but that's only 4.6g of carbs extra.
Even the normal Hovis Nimble is 14g extra.
On a low carb (less than 130g) it's not going to make a big dent, and @surreysteve is only "at risk of diabetes", so weight loss if any is required and a few diet tweaks could sort it out.
