I am concerned at the moment. MY bg was just over 15 on waking, which was self inflicted by eating Burger King and a Magnmum ice-cream. But just taking it two hours after eating berries and natural yoghurt, which usually makes a rise of around about 1, and my level is 20 now. I feel fine and will check again at lunchtime, if still high I will go to the docs. I can't believe it went up by 5, unless it was contaminated, but I had washed my hands first.

Your most likely still spiking but your right gp is first port of call to see what is what.

Still high, but come down to 14.7, and I only have chicken and salad for lunch, so hopefully it will keep falling.

I was the same one day after breakfast I'd already been at 15 then spiked to 20 and 2/3 hours Later it was still at 20 but sadly my PN was dismissive over it but discovered on here sip water not guzzle it. Plus a Wee bit of exercise not overdoing it either. It came down eventually and I then complained about the PN over her blaise attitude.

You could go for a walk and see if that helps your BG come down. I'm going down the two meals a day route. 10 and 5...no snacking.

I did a 45 min walk in my lunch break and post lunch has gone down again. Still high but at 13.5 it is coming down, so if I am sensible at dinner it might be nearly back to normal by bed.

How are you doing today?

Was still high today, walked again in my lunch hour, was 13 when I went to bed. 14 this morning, so hoping will get it back to normal during the day.

At least you know why it shot up. Good that it is coming down, keep at it and you will get there. This is such a horrible disorder isn't it? Take care and don't be too hard on yourself we all do things that we regret 🙂
