Comfortable shoes

Hello!
My feet have got fat and most shoes seem uncomfortable.
I tried buying one size bigger, but they fall off, so that won't be a solution.
The normal shoes seem very tight, but I am afraid that if I buy specialist wide shoes, they will also come off.
Also, I cannot have laces, I cannot tie them, so it has to be slip on.
Are there any shoes that are slip on and comfortable ?

Something like active-waist from MS trousers?

My other half has feet problems and she buys Ballerina shoes available in most places even in Lidl from time to time.

Hi, @NoCarb, I get shoes and socks from an online company called Cosyfeet (www.cosyfeet.com) who specialise in diabetic, swollen or other problem feet. They do creams, insoles and such like. They could be worth trying, and if you're diabetic you don't pay vat.

I like Clark's with the elastic bar over so they'll stay on, but I need an EE. Apparently your feet go up half a size as you age. Agh. I need slip-ons too, coz too fat to get down there and tie or buckle!

Get the JD Williams catalogue and have a look through. Loads of wide fitting, lightweight shoes.

Have you tried Skechers? I bought a pair of their shoes recently and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. Mine were lace up but they do slip on shoes as well.

Another possibility is to buy elastic laces to replace normal laces, so you can still slip on, probably using a shoe horn. That may widen your range of choices, while maintaining some ability to adjust shoe fit in case your feet change size.

I wear Skechers most of the time. Available in lots of different styles and they do half sizes too.

Have you had a look at Pavers as they do all sorts of varieties and do slip on styles also Hotter do mens shoes.

They don't just do trainers. They do men's shoes as well. My other half used to wear the slip one ones to his office when he was there.

at my office I have to wear normal office shoes, ie leather black, and I haven't seen Skechers to have such shoes!

Go to a local shoe shop and get your feet measured that way it might be easier!

I am not a Sketchers wearer, but alot of the shops here only seem to have the casual ones in the store.

Yes, I was not meaning for you to try them I was just commenting that these ones seem to be the most popular styles that seem to be readily available in the shops. I have not seen smart shoes in the range.

I know the Skechers shops do a larger range then what's online and other stockists. But I know the shops are limited in locations.
