Sorry for the personal question.

Has anyone suffered from Coital cephalgia (headache during/after sex)

I’ve had it twice now within a week. First time ever. I have high blood pressure and am on Ramipril for that. Worried it has something to do with this. Most agonising headache that comes out of nowhere and is a 8/10 on the pain scale.

Hello

Welcome to the forum.

Never heard of coital cephalgia I’m afraid. Most of my headaches seem to be related to hydration. Or stress!

I don't experience this, but I have heard about it. Try and keep hydrated but I know this can be rather difficult.

Did I read somewhere that you're twice as likely to die just after sex? They do call it La Petite Mort, just depends if you think it's worth it! It's the only thing in life where I never wanted more than one. :D I think they must be having a laugh with all this multiple orgasm shenanigans...killer!

Hi @MyTravelTips. Not the easiest of subjects... Experienced this a few times, but always when a bit rushed. I have low blood pressure so had put it down to that, but maybe the diabetes was the cause as I don't recall it from before my diagnosis. Keeping hydrated makes sense, and taking time over the process. Cheers Nick.
