Well I have just been watching some 60s Classic programmes on dvd I use to watch them when I was a wee nipper I thought god these are scary it's no wonder I suffered with nightmares. The programmes was The Outer Limits and the Hammer house of Horror. The Outer Limits use to scare the hell out of me but i carried on watching them but then my mind began to wander and I thought to myself I wonder what it was like to have diabetes in the 1960s if it was around then because times have changed I can remember when I was in hospital in 1964 I had got Meningitis I was 10 years old one of the nurses came to take some blood and she used a steel pointed evil looking thing and jabbed the end of my finger for a boy at that age it hurt for about 4 days. But that's not the worse of it I had to go through two Lumber Puctures the pain was horrible and I was awake I was put on a table and the doctors arched my back it was then I felt this long needle go into my spine, if diabetes was around then you never heard people speak about it not like now everybody talks about it. I often ponder about things like this and how life as changed. Well I am going to watch the Twilight Zone for an hour hopefully it might make me sleepy.
