2 squares of 85% Lindt dark chocolate, delicious 😉

In my opinion the odd spike doesn't really matter, it won't hurt you.
Don't forget what ever today's reading are you can start with a clean slate again tomorrow, go back to the low carbs diet and watch your figures fall away.
Everyone needs a treat once in a while or life isn't worth living and your friends start to find you boring to be with.
Just don't do it too often!

As other's have said - everyone has BG going up and down, the difference is a non-diabetic person will usually find their BG settles back quicker after a spike. Those levels are not too bad and you have lots of good advice in these comments.
Now I am diabetic I only have an occasional square of Dark Chocolate, before I did enjoy chocolate - so my advice as you are at risk is to go easy on the sweet treats, but there is no reason to deny yourself, especially if it only takes your BG to 5.3. Mine can reach that after a healthy stir fry!
