I have replaced white flour with buckwheat and wholemeal flour and now made my first chocolate cake with it with nectarines as topping for sweetness, and it was a big hit even with non-diabetic guests, as it tastes nutty &chocolatey(I used dark cocoa powder), and it had no adverse effect on my blood sugar levels.
