The fish would be between 40 and 50 carbs no idea about the peas as can't stand squashed peas.Tonight I had a large fish in breadcrumbs and a large carton of mushy peas I didn’t do my finger prick before but 2 hours after it is 8.8 can this be right? I expected it to be much higher
Now you have made me want Macho Peas as in Nandos, I tried to make myself but all I can say is they needed work.Mushy peas are approx 16.9g per 100g. That’s if they are proper mushy peas i.e. dried marrowfat peas soaked overnight in bicarb and then boiled until they go mushy. Not the squashed frozen peas that many restaurants pass off as “mushy peas” much to my annoyance. I love the proper ones and made them myself lots of times in the past (pre D)
