The stronger the curry the more rotten the meat - not really true, but quite often quoted.

They'll be fine, just wash them well.

Hmmmmm! I have Homemade Chicken curry frozen need to defrost for tonight!

I often have chicken that's beyond its use by date - sometimes buy it from the 'reduced to clear' fridge and then forget to use it until the following day! I usually nuke it in curries etc. and haven't come to any harm as yet! 🙂 If it smells OK then I think it will be fine, just make sure it is properly cooked 🙂

All down to the smell Steff if if it smells okay it will be fine🙂

Thanks all well im still here and it tasted lovely x🙂

They should be fine for a day or two past the use by date as long as they've been kept cool. Fortunately, with chicken it's usually pretty easy to tell if it's off, it goes all slimy.

A bit late now but I often eat food that has passed it's sell by date by only a day or two, just like Northerner I'll buy reduced food that is up on the day and freeze it when I get home, sell and use by dates are mainly for shop purposes and the look and smell of food is a good guide to judge if a food is edible or not.
