Does anyone else get a spike when they've eaten cooked cherry tomatoes?

I use what I thought was low GI recipe of Patrick Holford's using chicken, creme fraiche, cherry toms and basil for an evening meal.

On both occasions I've had a spike in my BG the folllowing morning.

I'm fairly sure it's not the creme fraiche as I've used it in other recipes without the tomatoes.

Thoughts?

Tomatoes are 70% water. I eat uncooked all the time with no probs  Dont think you can blaime tomatoes

Tomatoes spike me, but organic tinned ones can be eaten in moderation. They have less sugar than normal tinned tomatoes, think it might be the variety used. Cherry tomatoes are are definitely off my menu which is a shame because I love tomatoes and especially the cherry ones :(
