Does anyone know anywhere on the high street that sells these test strips cheaper than Boots? I've ordered some online at a very good price but they won't arrive until Thursday & I only have 7 left.

You'd be lucky to find them anywhere on the High St. at less than full price, unfortunately. Have you thought of getting an SD Codefree Meter which has test strips at around £8 for 50? Quite a few of our members use them.

That is dirt cheap! Could always keep mine as a spare. Wish I hadn't ordered my other ones now. Maybe I can cancel it. Anyway, while waiting for an SD Codefree to arrive, what's the best way to spread out the use of my final 7 test strips?

Where did you order from Mark? Did you use Amazon or eBay, or directly via the Homehealth (UK distributor) site?

When you buy Codefree strips, please do go to the Homehealth site at: http://homehealth-uk.com/product-category/blood-glucose/blood-glucose-monitor/

When buying your strips, provided you buy 5 or 10 pots (and you already know you can get through a few"), you can have a discount, bringing the strips down to under £6 a pot. The discount codes are:

5 pots: 264086
10 pots: 975833

The discount codes only work for 5 and 10 pots respectively. I know it seems odd, but if you decided to buy 6 pots, the code for 5 wouldn't work. I have fed that back to Homehealth who suggest if you want to make a specific order, then to call them. When I go overseas, for a few months, I buy lots and it all adds up.

I ordered the lot from Amazon. Shall I cancel them and get them direct from the website?

If you intend ordering multiple pots of strips, I might be inclined to do that. In reality, for 5 pots you get one free, if you use the discount code. It's up to you. Going direct obviously keeps their costs down which, in my view, helps keep the retail costs down.

Homehealth are a lovely, family owned/managed business, with excellent customer services. Just for clarity; I have no business relationship with the business.
