My Doc says that he would like to discuss putting me on meds as diet and exercise no longer seem to be controlling my blood sugar levels, :( 😱 as I drive for a living I'm a little worried about what I have to tell whom, to stay legal and keep my licence.
Can anyone help with some info please?

hi Jimbo..... I believe I am right that unless you need insulin you don't need to inform DVLA. I got in touch with my car insurers and they said that if I was type 2 then they didn't alter anything to do with my insurance. (I personally think that they might be wrong and that type 2s on insulin will need a note on their insurance) but they young man was adamant..... so who am I to 'argue' lol

hope all will be well for you as far as your driving is concerned.

I'm sure someone who knows more about the law will answer you tomorrow 🙂
