I know that symptoms vary, and for me they change depending on the rate of drop in my BG. This is a new one on me. Just in the last two weeks I have found that my right hand goes numb when I go hypo. It occurs at around 4.0.
Certainly stops me ignoring it, as I can’t just carry on with my weaving/knitting/ ...

How interesting @SB2015 !

I’ve had tingling lips, but never a numb hand.

I have fibromyalgia and if I drink alcohol I get tingling in my lips and jaw and my hands so I presume that some nerves are being over or under stimulated. It’s interesting that hypo symptoms can trigger the same response. I know from experience that my finger/hand issues are related to muscle tightness in my neck and shoulders and treatment of that helps my general issues with my hands. Given that you’re a crafter SB it may be that you have some tightness in similar areas that usually you don’t notice but that become more apparent with a hypo. It may be worth having some physio or similar if you can access it. It’s good to have a clear hypo symptom at such a good level though.

I get a numb thumb sometimes in my left hand, and like pins and needles in it if I wake with a hypo in the night. Mine have always changed at points in my life.
For example when I was pregnant I would always be sick ha!

Weird that, get same thing, dead arm hand sign of hypo, goes away once bg back up.

How interesting, not had that one yet!

Happened again today, at 4.0, before the usual tingling lips etc.

Tried to do basal rate test this morning, but hypo put an end to that.
Changed rates overnight to account for three mornings of hypo.
Try again tomorrow.

Also told today that my Libre sensors are not available.
Checking on here this is obviously a common problem.

My hand goes numb as well and oddly enough it has only done that since my carpal tunnel has become more advanced.

I have just developed a tingly mouth and tongue in the last couple of months when I hypo. Also momentary visual blackouts each time I blinked with my last bad one. Had lower hypos but not had that happen before which was a bit scary. Previously my peripheral vision would go blurry.

Thanks Sue. That would fit. Some evidence of carpal Tunnel for me recently.
Hypo signs change for many, I had just never experienced numbness in my hand.
Tingling lips, blurred vision, wooziness. Things change depending on rate at which I am dropping.
