Getting a continuous glucose monitor inserted this morning. Feeling quite anxious!😱 I'm not the bravest person around!! Hope it's not too pain or uncomfortable.

Wish me luck - that it will provide the information we need and hopefully take me in the right direction towards getting a pump?!

Don't worry, you will be fine. 🙂 As I understand it the insertion isn't a lot different than the cannula's used for pumps. Hope the results are as you need for your pump quest 🙂

I had two cgm's a few months ago, I had to have the second as the first one failed, but I was told this was not common.

It really was not a problem and didn't hurt at all, the most surprising thing for me that it was inserted into my back, but please be assured it did not hurt at all and gave them (and me) loads of information what was actually happening with my blood sugars.

Monitor has been attached and it was a breeze! Anxiety was NOT needed 🙂
