Apart from making my own, does anyone recommend any good cereal bar that you can buy which are as 'diabetic friendly' as you can possibly get them?

I find the peanut tracker bars less damaging for my blood sugars. There are about 15 carbs in a bar. (multi pack size) I only use them though when I know I am in for more exercise than anticipated.

PS, if you do make a diabetes friendly bar would you share the recipe pleaseeeeeeeee? :D Ta very much

I like the "Naked" bars - you find them in the gluten free section at Tesco or health food shops. They do vary in carb content: the ones I usually stick to are the gingerbread and cashew flavours as they have about 12g carbs. They're made of nuts and fruit so aren't really cereal bars at all, but I like them.

I also like the 9bars - made from hemp. Although they contain some sugar they are very high in fibre and contain more protein and fat than a normal cereal bar - much more satisfying for 12-15g carbs depending on which variety you get. Tesco also sell these.
