I've always enjoyed Celeriac as a cold grated salad ingredient but I read that it boils and mashes well with plenty of butter. Tried it this evening and found it a very acceptable substitute for mashed potato.
 
I'm allowed that on Atkins, thanks for the info. 🙂
 
Something I have never tried. Must give it a go as a replacement for potatoes
 
It's actually very good..... have had it as mash & replacement for potatoes in soup
 
It's really nice had it in soup before
 
Great as wedges as well (sometimes with cajun spices sprinkled on top) and goes well in soups, stir fries or salads.
 
I use thin slices in lasagne instead of pasta sheets ,all so as roasties instead of potatoes
