If anyone has one of these how are you supposed to get the meter into the case. The space provided for it has elastic sides and even after trying to stretch the elastic I still can't get the meter in. Does anyone else have this trouble.:D

it must be new, the more you pull it out the looser the elastic may become...........

i had a similar meter, but i never took it out, just tested with it still in the case........

does it zip open then open like a book.....

the elastic bit of it i use for the pot of strips, the bit for the case has see through material like thick plastic and my meter goes there.

I have 3 Freedom meters and I cannot get my meters in any of them! For me the plastic bit makes its very difficuly to slide it in and takes a superhero to pull it out. So I just leave it on top.

Half contemplating to cut the plastic bit out, and sew an additional elastic strip.

Not alot of help, sorry! I understand the frustration!

My One Touch has plastic, I so seldomtake the meter out it has never loosened up even though it's had multiple daily use since , errrm, 2007 !

Got an Aviva Nano now cos unfortunately the pump Combo one 'isn't very well' LOL

I've never had any bother with getting either my freestyle lite or my freestyle freedom lite metres in the said plastic.
Woo I applaude.

It's never been a problem for me. I have two of them and while it is a tight fit, I've never had trouble getting them in and out as needed. I carry one in my Big D Kit that I always have with me and keep the other in it's natty little pouch by my bed. Try pushing it up from the bottom (strip end) towards the wide end with your thumb, that works for me.
