Another with no target, mind not always case.

Started off on 2 injections per day which was 2 different insulins drawn into same syringe, 3 meals set at 60g carbs & two snacks of 20g, target was set by diabetes team. Then 12 years ago had go at low carb diet of 50g day, didn't like it & caused more problems than enough so target & diet was dumped, that was last time set any targets for carb intake.

At guess average now would be 180g day over week, somewhere near there depending, on hols lot more offset by loads of walking.

I am useless with numbers and can't be doing with counting/ adding up carbs every meal, but I do have to eat very low carb to keep my test results good (I am not on any medication). I eat mainly Keto meals. So just done an average estimate of my carb intake per day - 50-60g.

I generally stick to fairly predictable mealtime targets - a throwback to beginning life on fixed doses and carbohydrate ‘exchanges’.

So usually it’s

25g breakfast (45g at weekends)
55g lunch
60-80g evening meal (rising to 120g-ish for celebrations/takeaways)

My averages seem to be 175g a day, not counting hypo treatments.
