I'm interested how many carbs per 100g people allow for wholegrain rice when working out insulin?
The rice I use until recently gave 71g per 100g of carbs, but the new packets say 22.5g per 100g.
As this was such a huge change I contacted the company about it. I have continued to allow the same amount of insulin for it as I always have, but I was concerned that someone coming to the calculation the first time would be way off due to the incorrect figures. The company replied that 22.5g is the average carbs per 100g and this is what most manufacturers quote.
There is no way that I would have enough insulin on those figures, so am interested what other people allow as the carbs in it.
Thanks
