Hi
Has anyone got a general carb counting chart please?
or an address to down load from

Regards Andrew

Hi Andrew

There are lots of lists available online if you want to look a few things up.

I've also heard the Collins Gem Calorie Counter highly recommended: Collins Gem - Calorie Counter. It lists thousands of items per 100g and gives carb and calorie counts. Only a few quid from Amazon.

They also do a 'carb counter' version, but from what I can tell that is more 'portion based' (eg they'll give values for half a baguette without specifying how big that is).

Carbs and Cals also gets lots of good feedback Carbs & Cals: A Visual Guide to Carbohydrate & Calorie Counting for People with Diabetes. Full of photos of likely portion sizes with carb/cal counts but it's a bit more pricey.

I can email you the DAFNE carb counting list.................

It refers to carbs as CPs [Carbohydrate Portion], which translates to 1CP = 10g

If you would like I could email it to you......PM if interested..........🙂

I got my small booklet from the hospital when I went on the course. I could photocopy it for you and send it on. Just let me know. Best wishes Sheena
