Tomorrow I am going shopping, hope to get a lot of nice goodies 😉 , but most importantly i'm looking to get a carb counting book - could anybody recommend me one?

I plan to count the carbs of my meals and see what my limit is and good vs. bad carbs. Should be interesting. This is for my own benefit as clearly I can't go on with such erratic blood sugars and i'm due to see a dietician so I suppose its good to get as much knowledge as I can and I believe i'm already pretty good. I've also recently got a GI guide book which i'm yet to read.

There is a recommended books section on this forum which I didnt spot for a while, so have a look in there - but I think most people would say the Collins Gem carb counter (or the one with calories too) is a must buy for a beginner. 'Carbs and cals' is excellent if you eat out a lot or prefer to learn how to work out carbs 'by eye'. Good luck!

You can get the Collins Gem carb counter book on Amazon for under a fiver. I also have the Gem GI book too.

Thanks for that, I too am trying to curb my carbs so will look for that book.
