Hi does any one know best way count carbs
Look at the nutritional information on packets, shop websites, google for the TOTAL carb amount, usually given as grams/100g or sometimes per single item as in a biscuit.
You then need to work out the carbs in the portion you are going to have.
How accurate you need to be depends on the purpose, e.g to calculate insulin dose, compare foods, keep a tab on the carbs in your meal.
There are apps that people use, free or otherwise.

Carbs and Cals is good if you need some help, it’s available as a book or a phone app. If you are reading from packets, you need the Total Carbs number, not just the sugars, because all carbs turn to sugar in your stomach. Then make sure you work out the right number for the portion size, some packets will tell you how many carbs for the portion and some will only tell you per 100g so you have to find out how much one portion weighs. E.g. if it says 60g carbs per 100g and your portion weighs 50g then that’s half as much so 30g carbs in the portion.

Hi does any one know best way count carbs

Welcome @Page 🙂 Are you on any meds for your diabetes? Are you counting carbs just so you can watch the amount you eat, or for another reason eg meds you’re taking?

As mentioned above just count carbs on food labels. It some cases you'll have to do a bit of maths to calculate carbs in the portion you eat but what I've done is to maintain a notebook where I've recorded carbs in various meals I eat regularly.
The Carbs and Cals book and the Carbs and Cals app are quite useful for giving an insight into a massive list of foods.
