I cant claim this as my own - but thought it might help you when your out and about without a set of scales!

1cm of banana is equal to 1carb. I have tried this a few times now and it is 95% accurate!🙂Measure the outside of the banana from one end to the other (not including stems) and this is quite an accurate way of guessing the carbs.🙂Bev

That is a useful tip, has anyone else got more like this? An apple of about tenis ball size is considered one portion.
