I'm worried I've been doing it wrong I've been doing this - Say it gives you per 100g - The total carbohydrate for 100g divided by the 100 and times the weight of the portion I am having is this the correct way to do it as signed up to the Accu-Chek website and they are using a different way x

Yes, that works. There are probably other ways of doing it, but if you're happy with that way, stick to it!

I'm pretty much welded to the Accu-Chek everything - and I have absolutely no idea how else they'd do it except the way you are Kaylz - 50g carb per 100g - so if my portion weighs 37g, so 50 divide by 100(g), times 37(g) = 18.5g carb.

I shall investigate the website .......

Aaah - right!

They say take the weight of the food (37g) and divide that by 100, then multiply the answer by the carbs in 100g of the food - ie 50g. So 37(g) divide by 100, multiply by 50(g).

Guess what - the answer's 18.5g! LOL

Easier to understand as far as I'm concerned, the way we both say to do it - but it is actually the same!
