Did a 1/2 day carb count course today and enjoyed it! Learnt new things - but also reassured that I'm not doing stupid things! Meant other diabetics - varying from very new to very old (diagnosis not age!).
Best thing was, the dietician has agreed to speak to the 'bosses' to see if I can do the DAFNE course. As she said, it's not just for those who are about to go on the pump but also for those who are looking to improve their skills. Fingers crossed she can help!!
 
Good stuff suziepoo! I did the course a few years ago and even after being Type 1 for quite a while, it radically improved my control. You're never too old to learn something new!
