Is there a tasty alternative to hot mince pies and cream...
This is one of my fave Christmas treats.
High Krafty Sue, welcome from another crafty person (look in Procraftination for lots of others too. It will be good to see what you make).

My solution to mince pies is to make my own and make very small ones. That way I can enjoy the treat (and have a carrier for the brandy butter and cream!) along with everyone else. However I am also T1 so have some insulin ready to match it.

The cream is fine - I have seen people posting about making 'mug cake' - I am sure there are lots of recipes in the ether - it is egg, ground almonds baking powder - etc. add a spoonful of mincemeat and cream and it should be about right.
