Another endorsement for Tesco 'salted' butter - kept in its butter dish at the rear of one kitchen worksurface. (Obv unopened packets are in fridge)

Oh definitely, when we were France last year we bought some Breton butter, OMG! It was delicious! We used the whole block in about four days! 😱
