Hello I’m Lisa I have type 2 dieabeties and on inserlin gam I intitled to a free bus pass
 
Hi . Welcome to the forum.
No. Just Having diabetes does not give any entitlement to a bus pass .

They are only available for those ,think it’s 65 +.
Disabled people and their carer if traveling withe them.
 
In my area you have to be in reciept of State Pension to get a bus pass on age grounds.

Welcome @Lisa Ellen 🙂 No, you wouldn’t get a Disabled Bus Pass for diabetes alone. However, if you had additional issues you might be eligible. These include very limited mobility, severe sight problems and being refused a driving licence on medical grounds, to give a few examples. Your local council should have an information page about it.
 
Everyone gets a bus pass at state pension age which is now at least 66.
The disabled pass is awarded for different criteria in different areas,
but Diabetes alone does not qualify for this.
