The research team have asked us to highlight this Patient and Public Involvement opportunity for this research

Women who have had gestational diabetes are at a much higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes later in life, especially British-Pakistani women. Researchers we’re funding at the University of Warwick are looking to recruit 5 British-Pakistani women, who have had gestational diabetes and then gone on to develop type 2, to share their lived experience of diabetes care. The findings will help improve healthcare and develop more effective and supportive ways to prevent type 2 diabetes in this group.
