I like that too - often have it as a late night snack when I'm a bit on the low side as it helps to keep my levels up through the night. Good for you too! 🙂

think i have done well first proper breakfast in ages you know the issues im having around food/meds at moment so its a start

Brilliant! I can't stand the stuff personally 😱 I guess its a bit like marmite, you either love it or hate it. But its good for you, lots of protein so slow release 🙂

I have a question about peanut butter as I often lift a jar to buy for dad (not me!) apart from the jars being huge is the salt content ok?
I have read so many labels on the jars and something always stops me buying it yet I know there are lots on the forum who really enjoy it.

Think dad would love it it's just me a bit worried about the labels  saturated fat/salt

The fat content is the 'good' fat. The only real problem with it for some people is the calories, but they might be helpful for your dad. 'Whole Earth' is supposed to be the best brand to go for. 🙂

excellent I will have to overcome my fear of 'fats' as this would be good as extra calories for dad hopefully I can find a reasonable size jar. Thank you 🙂
