I make my own bread rolls using almond flour.
They're great for making meat and salad sandwiches.

It is probably just another bread, look at the carbohydrate content and see how it compares. Very little difference between that and say a Warburtons wholemeal sliced loaf about 36g carb per 100g. The difference can be if you look at per slice as slices will be different weighs depending on the loaf.
There are a few low carb breads around LivLife is one which some people use.

The Lidl Low GI Cob has: Carbohydrates 36g, of which sugar 3.8g
It's very tasty, and I do buy it but I find the real problem with it is that the slices I cut are always MUCH thicker than the slices from a pre-sliced loaf.

Edit: That's per 100g, not per loaf.

Agree with you it's so tasty, I would say that it is my favourite. The reason I ask is because it doe's not come wrapped so I had no way of knowing the carbs in it. But thank you for your help.

I just can’t eat bread at all, it makers my levels spike to 20 from 7% even from just 1 round of wholemeal with tuna and cucumber. Even if a double my usual dosage of nova rapid 3 hours later they are still around 15.
There just doesn’t appear to be any relationship between the amount of carbs in the bread and my insulin ratio.
I just generally avoid it when I can.

It is low something, but not low carb.
There are low carb bread recipes around - the egg white one is far too expensive and I found that a bread making machine was far too destructive of the risen dough, but a normal kitchen mixer and then hand kneading or just a single rise seems fine. The ingredients such as psyllium flour and other helpful things can be bought on line and stored in a freezer if you buy in bulk. I have packets way out of date but the contents are fine as they live in my huge freezer until needed.

At one time I never bought bread I made bread about 3 times a week from wholemeal Canadian flour. Have cooked most of my life alas now hitting 70 I really have to push myself just to get the dishes done.
