This morning I ate two slices of whole meal bread with no added sugar and two hours later my blood is 11.4?

Bread is full of carbohydrates, which get turned into glucose in the blood stream. What were you before you ate the bread?

I ate the same as you and my sugar was 16 I have to give up bread but I get so hungry

What was your blood sugar before you ate? If that breakfast doesn’t work for you, try one slice of bread plus poached eggs or similar. It’s the carbohydrate you need to be aware of not just sugar.

I was just going to tell you what I ate for breakfast and then realised I did not eat any - and I ought to have put the chicken in the oven some time ago now.
I eat only a small amount of carbs for my first meal - if it is already warm in the house I might have a large salad with leftover meat, or some fish or eggs and cheese. There is no need to go hungry.
I think I will put the chicken in the pressure cooker for half an hour and then into the oven to brown - don't really fancy anything else.

Have you tried Livlife seriously seeded sliced bread? its only 3.4g per slice. I stock up at Waitrose and freeze it, Coop also sell it.
